Our condolences go out to the family, friends and colleagues of Richard “Ricky” Downie (Class of 1981) who passed away on Sunday 12th April 2026 . Richard was a goalkeeper for the Fatima 1st Eleven football team and was an avid runner. Richard spent almost 3 decades in banking, having been appointed as Managing Director of RBC Royal Bank (Trinidad in Tobago) in 2021. He retired in November 2024.
Richard was featured in an interview with FOBA where he touched on his time at Fatima College, his banking career and his favorite Sunday lunch.
