Our deepest sympathies go to the family, friends and colleagues of the late Dr. Bernard Tappin who was the Vice-Principal of Fatima College from 1991-2000. He passed away on 14th February 2014.
He was a well-known educator, not only at Fatima College but also at Holy Cross College, Arima. He was a former teacher and Dean at Holy Cross College from 1975 to 1991, before going to Fatima. He returned to Holy Cross College where he served as Principal from 2000 to 2006.
He was contributor to the Catholic Education Board of Management for a few years. The Catholic News often turned to Dr Tappin for historical information on the Archdiocese. May he rest in eternal peace
He will be dearly missed, yet his impact remains indelible across the landscape of education in Trinidad and Tobago.
May he rest in peace.
