Major Accomplishments
The infrastructural achievements of the college are historical milestones that reflect the generosity of FOBA, current and past parents and other individual donors. With them the current generation of students remain grounded in their journeys at Fatima, creating memories which will inspire generations to come.
- Basketball Court Upgraded in November 2019 (see here).
- Establishment of the Grey Pocket College Store (see here)
- Establishment of Smart Boards in all of the School’s Classroom (see here)
- Establishment of a new and standardized Fatima sports uniform (all Fatima sports teams outfitted with this uniform).
- Installation of new cricket nets in July 2014 (pictures here).
- The construction of a 2-storey wing providing additional classroom space for Form 6 classes, as well as providing better facilities for Art, TD and Geography in addition to allowing for expansion of the curriculum (picture gallery here).
- Renovation of the pavilion on the school sports ground. This project included the outfitting of a fitness centre gym for students (picture gallery here).
- Funding of the design and deployment of a wireless network to support the Government’s eLearning initiative.
- Major renovations of school library with inclusion of Form 6 study room with multimedia (picture gallery here).
- Installation of a state-of-the-art security system for the College, 16 cameras placed strategically around the school with monitors available for the principal and the security guards
- Construction of mezzanine floor in school hall hereby increasing capacity by 400 people (picture gallery here).
- Improvements to the basketball and tennis courts and their fencing
- Painting of classrooms
- Making repairs to the pavilion (in particular the roof and seating)
- Relaying of the cricket pitch
- Replacement of desks in the schools
- Air-conditioning of the school hall
- Redo of the school’s perimeter walls
- Purchase of a new tractor for maintaining the school’s grounds
- Refitting of the school’s computer lab and media room
- Repairing the air-conditioning for the school’s library
- Development and maintenance of the FOBA website
